This isn’t my first time here but it’s my first time trying The Green Zone’s brunch. What a delight!!! The food was spectacular. It felt and tasted as if it came out from my grandmother’s kitchen. The Iced Turkish Pistachio Coffee was amazing. The Green Zone is also known for their amazing cocktails and drinks. My favorites are the “Mint Lemonade & More” and “A Few of my Favorite Things.” You won’t regret it.
My favorite bar in DC (maybe anywhere?) -- can't believe I have not reviewed until now! The cocktails are always phenomenal. A mint lemonade in DC summer has never failed to hit, and the seasonal menu is always worth exploring. They are unabashedly political, as I would wish others would be. Service is always great. They have many fun events, collaborations, etc, but most of my love for this place is the excellent drinks and amazing location for outdoor people watching. So much love for this bar. Long live Green Zone.
I have been at this bar twice during my trip because I enjoyed it so much. The cocktails are really good, have a lebanese/arabic twist on them which makes them really enjoyable.
I especially have to give praise to the bartender Ashley. She has been very kind and accommodating towards me, as I have been here on my own.
It's also a joy watching her mix the cocktails!
I also had the za`tar pita chips as a snack and they were absolutely delicious!
Should I ever come back to DC, I'll visit this bar for sure!
Literally my favorite cocktail bar in DC. The drinks are all so interesting, unique and have a twist on their signature drinks. I love this place!
Love this cocktail bar, and it has both great brunch and dinner food too. One of my favorites to stop at when in DC. Also has fantastic non alcoholic drinks if you aren't drinking cocktails
10/10 cocktail bar. The drinks are unique (e.g., a bee’s knees with mastica & arak) and a delicious orange blossom martini. You can’t go wrong with any of the cocktails tbh. The vibe is hip & welcoming & the bartenders are experts. We popped in for 1 drink and ended up staying for 4. Whoops. Highly recommend!
Chill place to hang out. When we went it was packed, but luckily they were just getting ready to open up their upstairs space. Didn't get to try any hot foods, but their hummus and Turkish coffee were great! Definitely a very popular place with the young crowd!
Such great food! Consistory great drinks and always some solid suggestions and creations from the bartenders.
Highly recommend and always heading back
